Autumn term 2023
Dear Parents, Carers and Community,
We hope everyone has settled well into school this week.
FOOS have lots of exciting events coming up this term, starting off with The Orton Fell Race.
Raffle tickets are now on sale, you will find some in your children's school bag.
There are some excellent prizes this year.
Tickets for the raffle are £1 each (£1 per number). Winners will be announced on race day, Saturday 23rd September. Please return your tickets and money to school. Extra tickets are available on request. If you won't be there on the day, please write your name and number on the back of each ticket.
The Orton Fell Race is a great day out for everyone and raises lots of funds for our school. There will be games, toys and crafts for the children and lots of tea and cake for everyone. Come and take part or cheer the runners on or get in touch if you can lend a hand.

Friends of Orton School AGM
FOOS will be holding their AGM on Thursday 2nd December in the school hall at 6.30pm.
All parents and carers are automatically members of FOOS!
FOOS really need some more committee members to help continue their great work, many hands make light work.
Please come along to the AGM, you will have a warm welcome and will not be pressured into taking on anything.

Well after a hour of counting with Ann-Marie Wolstenholme we have a grand total from bag packing today at Morrisons a massive...... £435.60, thank you so much to the people that came and packed a bag or 2!!!!! ???? Xxx
